Formula 4 France – Pau: Arao and Barter in pole position

The only qualifying session for the French Formula 4 Championship in Pau (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) was of crucial interest this Friday, May 6. On a city circuit, overtaking will be counted during the three races, so it was important for the young hopefuls of the discipline to achieve a good time.

In this little game, the Japanese Souta Arao did the best. Third in the general classification after the inaugural meeting in Nogaro at the Easter Cups, the Nippon was ahead of the championship leader, Hugh Barter, by 111 thousandths. Enzo Peugeot is the first Frenchman in the ranking, just ahead of Alessandro Giusti, the driver member of the Rookie Academy AUTOweekly, who will have the opportunity to score valuable points in Race 1, the start of which is scheduled for Saturday at 8:50 a.m. The Australian Hugh Barter, on the other hand, will start from pole position on Sunday morning in Race 3, in the race for the second best times of the session.
