Victim of a big accident during the 1st round of the FRAC in Abu Dhabi, Cem Bolukbasi decided to withdraw from the last three rounds.

FRAC – Bolukbasi ends his campaign

The last three rounds of FRAC 2022 will be done without Cem Bolukbasi. Preferring to prepare as best as possible “ mentally and physically » for its first season of F2, the Turk decided not to play the end of the Asian championship campaign.

« After the bad luck of the first weekend and having missed the 2nd meeting, it was impossible for me to get the Super License points that I was aiming for », he wrote on his social networks while meeting his fans in March.

As a reminder, Cem Bolukbasi was hit by Amna Al Qubaisi after stalling on the grid in Race 3 in Abu Dhabi. The accident caused a red flag and the race resumed several minutes later. Le Truc was forced to forfeit the following meeting in Dubai due to the numerous damages to its car.
