FRECA: Owen Tangavelou completes the Trident stable

The Frenchman joins the Italian team for his second season in FRECA. He will be alongside Roman Bilinski and Nikhil Bohra.

FRECA: Owen Tangavelou completes the Trident team

The team Trident is ready for the start of the FRECA season. In their ranks, a 17-year-old French pilot with Vietnamese and Polish origins, Owen Tangavelou. This will be the second campaign in the category for the Frenchman, after a season where he finished in 20th place in the standings.

After a late start in karting, at the age of 14, he joined the Formula 4 France championship for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. He was promoted to FRECA in 2022, first alongside the G4 Racing team to finish the year at RPM . His best result: a 6th place during the last Grand Prix of the season at Mugello (Italy). He is in ninth place among rookies.

In the tests carried out together, he proved that he had an instinct for speed while showing his ability to listen and analyze the technicians' indications. The chemistry with the team happened instantly, and I think Tangavelou is the perfect choice to complete the team, which will help us achieve our goals with three very talented drivers. »

For the 2023 financial year, Owen Tangavelou will be accompanied by Briton Roman Bilinski who returns to the team, 18th in the standings last season. Rookie Nikhil Bohra, who rides with a Singaporean license, completes the trio of the Italian team.
