- Mexican Santiago Ramos set the best time in Free Practice 1 at the Barcelona meeting this Friday. The RPM driver was ahead of the two Van Amersfoort Racing drivers, Kas Haverkort and Josh Dufek during a session disrupted by the arrival of rain.
- The big favorite for the championship Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Prema) took 5th place in the session, just behind Tim Tramnitz (R-ace GP).
- On the French side, Macéo Capietto (RPM) is the best placed of the French with an 8th position (+0”909), ahead of the rookie Alessandro Giusti (G4 Racing) who takes 14th place at 1”154 from the reference time, when Marcus Amand (ART Grand Prix) finished 17th. The second and final free practice session will take place this Friday at 16:05 p.m.
