Giovanni Maschio will take his first steps in Regional Formula alongside the Monolite Racing team for the 2023 campaign. Maschio officiated in F4 Italy last year for two different teams: the races of Vallengula (Italy), of Red Bull Ring (Austria) and Monza (Italy) for AS Motorsport, then a meeting at Mugello (Italy) for the French R-ace GP team.
The 16-year-old Italian is currently competing in the FRMEC championship for R&B Racing.

« This season marks his debut in a very competitive championship, but I am happy that we can support him in this new challenge “, says Rudi Mariotto, founder of the team. This is the first name made official by the Italian franchise for the upcoming FRECA championship.
Last year, Monolite included a Frenchman in its drivers, Macéo Capietto. He finished in 22nd place in the general classification and had a 7th place as his best result during the last Grand Prix of the season.
The start of the 2023 financial year will take place in Imola, from April 21 to 23.
