Hungary – Hadrien David on pole for Race 2

After finishing in 2nd position in his qualifying group on Saturday, Hadrien David this time managed to climb to the top of the timesheet. In Hungary, the Frenchman took his second pole position of the season. Present in the first group to take on the Hungarian asphalt, the R-Ace GP driver took a while to put himself forward. For most of the 15 minutes, Roman Bilinski thought he had his first pole position in FRECA. This was without counting Hadrien David's last attempt in 1'38″185. His teammate, Gabriel Bortoleto also improved his mark on his last lap but it was insufficient to overtake the Frenchman.

Before knowing if he was going to start in pole position for Race 2, Hadrien David had to be patient. No one in Group A was able to get close to their mark. Accustomed to the first positions, Gabriele Mini will share the first row with the Habs. The Italian finished at the top of his group but remained 3 tenths behind the R-Ace GP driver.

Among the second salvo of competitors who took to the Hungaroring track, some drivers missed each other. Dino Beganovic is one of the disappointments of qualifying. Author of the 7th fastest time, the leader in the standings was not able to make a final attempt after crossing the limits of the track. This Hungarian weekend should hurt the Swede who has already settled for 7th position in Race 1.

On the Tricolore side, behind Hadrien David, it was Owen Tangalevou, within his new RPM team, who achieved the best performance with an 8th position on the starting grid. Maceo Capietto finished 5th in his group just ahead of Esteban Masson. Sami Meguetounif and Victor Bernier must be content with 8th and 10th place respectively in their respective groups.
