The VdeV has revealed its calendar for the 2019 season. The program will include seven meetings with Le Mans back next year while the Sarthe meeting was traditionally contested alternately.

“Le Mans is a legendary name and the competitors are extremely happy to race on this circuit, explained Eric Van de Vyver, the founder of the VdeV Series. The ACO looks favorably on the V de V, because many young drivers are gaining experience at the wheel of LMP3s and can then progress to higher disciplines. For all these reasons, we are very happy to return in 2019.”

The VdeV Series will also feature a new board with the Proto 3h.

“As the name suggests, these will be three-hour races, with two drivers. The aim will be to offer low costs, so competitors will only have one set of tires per race. The “Proto Revolution” should be presented at the next race in Estoril. It will be an open prototype, with a 3,5-liter Ford engine developing around 320 horsepower. It will be sold for less than €100”, specified Éric Van de Vyver.
