On a drying track, the French drivers shone this Friday morning in free practice 1. Hadrien David (R-ace GP) actually set the best time of the session, ahead of championship leader Grégoire Saucy (+0 »1) , which can be titled on Saturday if he takes 4 points from David.
The two men are closely followed by Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP/+0 »2), the best rookie of the session. The three men exchanged first place during the last ten minutes, when the track was dry. But we will also and above all remember the superb fourth place of Sami Meguetounif (R-ace GP), the other Frenchman in the group who is nevertheless discovering the category. The Marseillais punctuates his session only 5 tenths behind David.
For his part, Mari Boya (VAR) took a good 6th place while the man in form of the moment, the Argentinian Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport) could not do better than 15th (+1”0). Very fast in the wet on a track he knows well, Dino Beganovic (Prema) finished 8th.
