Macéo Capietto will be part of the RPM crew (Race Performance Motorsport) for a second season in Formula Regional. The Italian team therefore completes its crew by lining up the young 17-year-old Frenchman alongside Santiago Ramos and Adam Fitzgerald. Capietto's first campaign in the championship ended in 22nd position with a team in difficulty. His best result: a 7th place during the first race of the final organized on the Mugello track (Italy). In total, Capietto recorded five points finishes.

« It’s a privilege to join such a competitive team. In their first season last year, they performed better than others from the start of the year, showing their speed on every circuit with a pole and a few podiums!, recalls Capietto, enthusiastically. The team is made up of hard workers who only think about fighting for the title, and that is our goal in 2023. A year to learn, a year to win! »

« We are very happy to welcome Macéo to RPM this season, adds Keith Donegan, RPM team principal who joined the championship last year. He’s a promising young talent who performed very well in testing this winter, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what we can do together this year. »

Within a more competitive structure, Macéo Capietto and his teammates will take to the track on April 21 in Imola (Italy) for the inaugural meeting of the 2023 FRECA season.
