Mari Boya moves from VAR to ART Grand Prix

Fourteenth for his debut with Van Amersfoort Racing in 2021, Mari Boya will continue his adventure within FRECA in 2022. Regular thanks to his numerous finishes in the Top 10, the Catalan decided to try his luck again but with a different team.

After a first attempt with VAR, Mari Boya decided to join the ranks of ART Grand Prix for this new campaign where he hopes to be able to join the fight for the title. “ From the end of last year, it was obvious to us that to complete a second year we needed to benefit from the best possible conditions. ART Grand Prix has very often dominated the championship and we therefore had to try our luck with this team with an incredible track record., said the Spaniard.

During the off-season testing, I was immediately attracted to the team and I felt very comfortable behind the wheel. So I'm very happy to work with ART Grand Prix and can't wait for the season to start, to find myself in the conditions of a race weekend. The goal is always to win, but I'm waiting to see how the start of the season goes and how the season unfolds to affirm my ambitions even if a top 3 must definitely be a minimum. I would like to thank Monlau Motorsport, the RACC, Oeme and the Spanish Automobile Federation."

After Gabriele Mini, Mari Boya is the second driver confirmed by ART Grand Prix for the 2022 FRECA season.
