Diego Menchaca (Fortec Motorsports) set the best time in World Series Formula V8 3.5 testing at the Nürburgring (Germany) by completing a lap in 1'43''296. The Mexican was ahead of Alex Palou by a tenth, who is making his debut in the discipline by replacing Nelson Mason at Teo Martin Motorsports.
Championship leader Pietro Fittipaldi (Lotus) finished 4th between Egor Orudzhev (SMP Racing by AVF) and Alfonso Celis Jr (Fortec Motorsports).
