Strong man of the exercise this year, Paul Aron won his 7th pole position of the season and can no longer be caught up in the statistics. He will share the first row with Victor Bernier.

This is undoubtedly one of his big strengths of the season. Poleman 6 times this year already, Paul Aron did it again at Mugello this Saturday. A week after his 6^e pole position of the campaign in Barcelona, the Prema driver signed a 7^e thus ensuring hope to achieve Grégoire Saucy's record established in 2021 with 8 pole positions.

Placed in Group A, the Estonian had a very good outing as he finished more than 2 tenths ahead of his teammate Dino Beganovic thanks to a time of 1'42"723 compared to 1'42"971. Placed in 2^e line of Race 1, the Swede must ensure a finish in the Top 4 to be crowned champion on Saturday.

Great morning for Victor Bernier (FA Racing) who won a front row alongside Paul Aron. In good shape since last weekend in Barcelona, the Habs once again battled at the forefront, even claiming pole position. He finally left with number 2^e place on the grid after a better time of 1’42”908. Great performance from Frenchman Macéo Capietto (Monolite Racing) also with 3^e time of Group B and the 6^e place on the grid for Race 1 this Saturday (14:10 p.m.).
