Paul-Ricard – Race 2: Beganovic disqualified, Prema appeals

Second in Race 2 at Paul-Ricard behind Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix), Dino Beganovic (Prema) was excluded from the final ranking. In its official document, the college of commissioners indicated that the car of the Swede did not successfully pass the post-race technical checks.

« Following technical checks carried out after the second race of the championship at Paul-Ricard, Dino Beganovic's Prema car was deemed non-compliant, » can we read in the document. With the disqualification of Dino Beganovic, Kas Haverkort (VAR) and Paul Aron (Prema) each glean a position with the first passing 2nd and the second 3rd.

However, Prema does not intend to stop there since the Italian team has confirmed that it will appeal the commissioners' decision. The classification is therefore subject to reservation pending the outcome of the case.
