Pedro Piquet leads collective tests

The first day of end-of-season collective testing in Formula V8 3.5, the championship which came to an end after the Bahrain final, was dominated by Pedro Piquet. The Brazilian, competing under the colors of SMP Racing by AVF, set the best time in 1'44'419.

The pilot F3 this year with Van Amersfoort Racing ahead of EuroFormula Open champion Harrison Scott (RP Motorsport) by almost two tenths and Rinus Veekay (Fortec Motorsports), in the lead before the break in 1'45″967.

Note that Julien Canal, crowned in LM P2 in WEC during the Bahrain final, took the wheel of the car from the Lotus team, just like Tatiana Calderon (RP Motorsport), who scored a podium during the final round held on the Sakhir track last weekend.
