Antonio Pizzonia placed the car of Corinthians on pole in the Donington Park race, in SuperLeague Formula. However, the qualifying session was greatly truncated. Only the first quarter-final took place between Pizzonia (Corinthians) and Buurman (Andelecht), before the qualifying session was stopped due to heavy rain across the Channel. It is therefore the results of groups A and B which are taken into account to establish the starting grid for the first race on Sunday.
