Great first for Gabriel Bortoleto (R-ace GP). After a session shortened to 15 minutes with 35 cars the day before, the drivers returned to the traditional format with two distinct groups having a quarter of an hour of driving time to set the best possible time this Sunday.

Placed in Group B, the first to go on track and the one who would designate the poleman, Gabriel Bortoleto dominated the debates this Sunday morning. Still present on the tarmac after the checkered flag was waved, the Brazilian completed his best lap in 1'40, dominating his group ahead of the French Hadrien David (R-ace GP) and Owen Tangavelou (RPM).

On the other hand, it was Pierre-Louis Chovet (RPM) who set the best time with a time of 1'40"599. Thus, the Tricolore will start from 1st line during Race 2 this Sunday. While a victory would ensure him the title, Dino Beganovic (Prema) will have to work hard if he hopes to win. Slightly behind since the start of the weekend, the Swede will only be 10e on the grid.
