Saintéloc Racing debuts in Formula 4 Spain

Specialist in Grand Tourism and rally since its creation in 2004 by Sébastien Chetail, the Saintéloc Racing will take the plunge Single seat during the Formula 4 Spain event on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit (Belgium, July 8-9). The French team will enter two Tatuus T-021s for hopefuls Théophile Naël and Ethan Ischer.

Stéphanois Théophile Naël has never taken part in a single-seater race but doesn't mind: “I think I’m ready.” I have been preparing physically for this race for six months. I have no pressure, and I have no idea where we are going to be in terms of hierarchy. The first qualifications will give a better picture. Discovering the car went well and we were headed in the right direction.

The relationship with the team is really perfect, both with the mechanics and with my engineer. There are ways to do beautiful things together. If we could make a top 10 for this premiere, it would really be a great accomplishment. »

The Swiss Ethan Ischer arrives in Italian and German versions of the F4: “It’s a great opportunity to be able to compete in this F4 Spain event, make a comparison with F4 Italy, and race with Saintéloc Racing. Before competing in the Italian and German series, I only did one year of karting. The level remains quite high. My past experience can help me with the feeling in the car, because it's never easy to arrive during the year. »
The duo of teenagers will be able to benefit from the expertise of Julien Simon-Chautemps, an engineer who worked for Formula 1 as Toyota, Renault, Lotus and Alfa Romeo.
