The Silverstone round, the 4e of the season, will be without Alexander Smolyar. The Russian driver, who has been racing under a neutral license since the measures taken by the FIA after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, has indeed encountered problems with his British visa and will not be able to hold his place this weekend.
In Great Britain, Alexander Smolyar will be replaced by Filip Ugran, current 7e of the Euroformula Open with VAR. It remains to be seen whether the Russian was barred from entering England because of his nationality or not.

As a reminder, the English motorsport federation bans drivers and teams racing under a Russian or Belarusian license to access competitions on its soil. A decision which does not (normally) apply to Alexander Smolyar since he has been racing under a neutral banner since the start of the season.
