A complete program for Ugochukwu in Italian F4 with Prema
Ugo Ugochukwu will have a full program in Italian F4 in 2023 © Prema
Ugo Ugochukwu continues his rise. The 15-year-old American will continue his partnership with Prema in 2023 and will be competing full-time in Formula 4 Italy. Supported by McLaren, the New Yorker made his debut in car in 2022, after a successful start to his career in karting, crowned by the FIA OKJ European title in 2020.
In the 4 British Formula 2022 Championship, Ugochukwu achieved third place in the championship and the title of best rookie, winning two races and reaching the podium 11 times. Later in the season, the American joined Prema in the German and Italian Formula 4 championships, scoring two podiums in Germany and four in Italy.
The New York native will mainly participate in the Italian Formula 4 championship and will participate in other events, notably in the five rounds of F4 UAE (United Arab Emirates) in early 2023. “I am very happy to race with Prema again in 2023, rejoiced Ugo Ugochukwu. I was very well received by everyone this year. I get along well with the team, and I think we work well together. The races I did in 2022 were very positive and I look forward to improving on that next year. »
