Van Hoepen discovering FRECA with ART GP
After half a season of Ultimate Cup Series, Laurens Van Hoepen enters the Regional Formula by Alpine (FRECA) in 2022. The 16-year-old Dutchman will compete within the ART Grand Prix team:

“The team did an incredible job winning the drivers' championship and finishing second in the teams' championship last year, declared the teenager, 3rd in the European Championship of karting KZ2 in 2021. I know it's a big step from karting to FRECA but during the pre-season tests, I immediately felt comfortable with the team and the car. It's a very competitive championship and the circuits in this discipline are fantastic. I can't wait to get started and I'm sure that with the team we can have a successful year. »
