Moto GP – The Finnish Grand Prix canceled

This is an announcement that has been hovering around the paddock for several weeks. It is now official: the Finnish GP will not take place this year. On the initial calendar for the 2022 season, the Finnish event is canceled due to the geopolitical context linked to the war in Ukraine. As a reminder, Finland borders with Russia, which invaded Ukraine two months ago. For the moment, the appointment is not replaced, but the calendar may possibly be adapted to limit future back-to-backs. Note that it is planned that the circus of Moto GP returns to Finland in 2023.
