The organizers of theERC will be able to count on the commitment of 28 crews on R5s at Rally of the Azores, first event of the 2017 season, which will be contested on the weekend of April 1st. 19 drivers will compete in the Junior category. In total, 56 crews will be at the start of the Portuguese rally.
Alexey Lukyanuk and Kajetan Kajetanowicz will notably make their return in their Ford Fiesta R5 even if the reigning champion has not yet confirmed his program. The Peugeot Rally Academy will field Spaniards Pepe Lopez and José Suarez.
