Nasser Al-Attiyah (Ford) won the qualifying stage of the Rally of Cyprus by setting a time of 3'23"3 at the end of the 6,33km course. The Finn Juuso Nordgren (Skoda) was the closest with 1 seconds behind, while Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford) completed the top three at 8 seconds from the reference time. Laurent Pellier ranked 2th with 5”16 behind at the wheel of his Peugeot 208 R2.
The Argentinian Juan Carlos Alonso (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X), 19th in the qualifying special, will have the honor of opening the road while Nasser Al-Attiyah will start from 15th position.
