Catalonia SS9 – Thierry Neuville on his way

The ninth special of Rally Catalonia saw Thierry Neuville et Martijn Wydaeghe s’imposer une nouvelle fois devant leurs coéquipiers chez Hyundai, Dani Sordo et Cándido Carrera, et les deux Toyota Yaris du TGR. Le Belge a bouclé les 24 kilomètres d’El Montmell en 12:03.5. La paire espagnole en a terminé en 12:03.8, près de deux secondes devant Elfyn Evans et Martin Scott. Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia conceded another six seconds on the leaders of the event. Also note the duo's fifth place Adrien fourmaux and Alexandre Coria on their Ford Fiesta, in 12:09.8, that is to say almost in the same time as the seven-time world champions.
