Victim of a domestic accident, Dany Snobeck withdrew around ten days from Rally of Rouergue. The reigning French Champion was entered with a Peugeot 307WRC.

Four more WRC are entered by Jean-Michel Da Cunha, Patrick Henry and Georges Guebey (Peugeot 307WRC) and Pierre Roché (Subaru Impreza WRC).
