Robert Kubica (Fiesta RRC) took advantage of the last special of the first stage of the Jännerrallye to take the lead of the event. With a time of 13'44"3 at the end of Schönau's 22,93? St Leonard, the Pole took first place with a lead of 6”4 over Vaclav Pech (Mini JCW S2000). Raimund Baumschlager (Fabia S2000) still completes the provisional podium, 20 seconds from the head of the race. Robert Consani (Peugeot 207 S2000) came back four seconds from ninth position.
