After losing control of the Rally from Ypres in Belgium after a puncture in the previous SS, Craig Breen was forced to retire at the end of SS12 after making a mistake in a field. Arriving at the stopping point of the special around thirty seconds late, the Irishman was unable to restart his Peugeot 208 T16 R5.
SI Freddy Loix (Skoda Fabia R5) a signé le meilleur temps avec 4″6 d’avance sur Bryan Bouffier (Citroën DS3 R5), le Français reste en tête avec 4″1 d’avance sur le Belge. Les autres perdants de cette spéciale sont notamment Stéphane Lefebvre (Peugeot 208 T16 R5), victime d’une crevaison et qui lâche plus de 3′ ou François Delecour (Porsche 911 R-GT) qui a également perdu plus de huit minutes. Bernd Casier (Ford Fiesta R5) était également reporté arrêté dans l’ES, alors qu’il était cinquième du classement général.
