Kevin Abbring set the best time in the second SS of the Barum Rally, eighth round of the European Rally Championship ERC. The pilot Peugeot , arrived with a 208 T16 R5 damaged at the front bumper, took his teammate along with him Craig Breen who gives up 6″3 on the Dutchman. Roman Kresta places the first Skoda Fabia in 3rd position, 6″8 behind Abbring. Esapekka Lappi follows in 4th position at 7″1. Ford drivers are suffering with Kajetanowicz and Thank you which yields more than 17″.
Among the French, Robert Consani (Peugeot 207 S2000) took 10th place in the special. Overall, Kevin Abbring remains in the lead ahead of Esapekka Lappi at 9″9 and Craig Breen at 10″9
