Big disappointment for Robert Consani (DS3 R5) at the Circuit of Ireland Rally. The Frenchman retired after losing the first two gears on his gearbox on SS4 while running in 3rd position just 16 seconds behind the leader Craig Breen (Peugeot 208 T16).
The Irishman only has a second lead over his compatriot Robert Barrable and complains of problems with his car. Sam Moffett (Fiesta S2000) inherits 3rd place just ahead of Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Fiesta R5) who is less than half a minute from the lead of the race.
