Raimund Baumschlager finds himself at the head of the Jännerrallye at the wheel of his Skoda Fabia S2000 at the end of the second pass of the 18,99km Pierbach which offers a new hierarchy at the head of the race. With a time of 12'54"6, the Austrian found himself in the lead after opting for non-studded winter tires. Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Ford Fiesta R5) fell to second place, 2”5 behind the new leader, tied with Vaclav Pech (Mini JCW S2000). Robert Kubica (Fiesta RRC) finds himself in fourth place after suffering a puncture when hitting a stone at the 7th km. The Pole is 11 seconds behind the leader of the race. Robert Consani remains 12th but lost time following a spin. The Frenchman chose studded or non-studded tires mounted diagonally.
