Kevin Abbring (Peugeot 208 T16) retains the lead of Geko Rally of Ypres at the end of the first four stages contested. The Dutchman is 11 seconds ahead of eight-time winner Freddy Loix (Skoda) while Luca Rossetti's Fabia S2000 follows just 2"5 behind. Championship leader Esapekka Lappi (Skoda) remains in contact five seconds behind the top three while Cédric Cherain (Fiesta R5) completes the top five half a minute after missing a corner and ahead of the 207 S2000 of Robert Consani by a handful of seconds. Pieter Tsjoen (208 T16) is in eighth place while the Peugeot of Craig Breen is in provisional 14th place after losing further time following brake problems.
