Vaclav Pech (Mini JCW) took the lead in the Barum Rally in the Czech Republic. The local driver set the best time in the fifth timed sector and took control of the race ahead of Roman Kresta (Skoda Fabia S2000) who seemed to have mechanical problems. Kresta remains within rifle range of Pech at 3″6 overall. Jaromir Tarabus (Skoda Fabia S2000) is 3rd at 14″6. Robert Consani (Peugeot 207 S2000) gains a place in the ranking and is in 8th place.
