Back at the front after his excellent time in the previous special, Kevin Abbring made a mistake in SS6 of the Rally from Ypres. The Dutchman rolled over at the wheel of his Citroën DS3 R5. The crew is unhurt according to information reported by theERC. Bryan Bouffier (Citroën DS3 R5) set a new best time which allows the French driver to return to second position, 7″3 behind the leader Craig Breen (Peugeot 208 T16 R5). Stéphane Lefebvre (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) completes the provisional podium at 11″3 from the head of the race ahead of Kris Princen (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) at 20″9 and Freddy Loix (Skoda Fabia R5) more than 25″ behind.
