Robert Consani (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) encountered engine problems with power losses in the 22,8 km of Ingenio, the eighth special of the Rally from the Canary Islands (Spain). The Frenchman finished 14 seconds behind Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Ford Fiesta R5) and seems unable to resist the comeback of Luis Monzon Artilles (DS 3 R5) who came back two seconds behind the French driver.
Kajetan Kajetanowicz now has a 28-second lead over Alexey Lukyanuk (Fiesta R5) at the top of the Canary Islands Rally.
