Esapekka Lappi (Skoda Fabia S2000) set the best time in the first ES of the day Rally from Ypres. He is ahead of the sister car of the Italian Luca Rossetti in 7’41″9, beaten by 0″6 and the Peugeot 208 T16 R5 Craig Breen d 0″9. Kevin Abbring (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) remains in control of the race after his 5th fastest time in this special, which saw Freddy Loix, 2nd overall, take two tenths back from the Dutchman.
