Esapekka Lappi wins the Rally International du Valais, last event of the seasonERC, at the wheel of his Skoda Fabia S2000. The Finn took advantage of the penalties inflicted on his direct opponents to maintain the lead in the Swiss event. Olivier Burri (Ford Fiesta S2000) finished closest to the winner even if he was still more than three minutes behind. Craig Breen (Peugeot 207 S2000) completes the podium by failing just eight seconds behind the local driver. Jérémi Ancian (207 S2000) was the best performer with seven scratches, but the Frenchman can only snatch fourth place at the end of the last course after receiving a four-minute penalty after suffering a puncture. Florian Gonon wins the Production category in his Subaru Impreza R4.
