Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5) took the lead Rally of the Azores at the end of the second stage and now has around ten seconds ahead of Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Fiesta R5). The Russian took advantage of the best conditions to line up the scratch scores and get back on the reigning champion.
Ricardo Moura completes the Ford trio, 40 seconds behind the new leader. Ralfs Sirmacis (Skoda Fabia R5) follows a minute ahead of Pedro Meireles (Fabia R5) who marks the gap in the peloton by being more than three minutes from the lead of the race.
