Andreas Aigner (Subaru Impreza R4) retires after going off the road in the 37,13km Cols, the longest special of the Rally from Valais. The Austrian was in second place, 46 seconds behind leader Esapekka Lappi and leading the Production category. Olivier Burri (Ford Fiesta S2000) recovers second position while Vasily Gryazin (Fiesta S2000) completes the new provisional podium. But the top three could still evolve since Craig Breen (Peugeot 207 S2000) moved up to fourth place, 17 seconds behind third place. On the other hand, Jérémi Ancian (207 S2000) lost three minutes following a puncture.
