Le Rally Mont-Blanc has its share of surprises in store. Pierre Roché occupied second place with his Peugeot 307 WRC before detecting a leak in his fuel tank. Pierre Campana (Mini Countryman S) thus takes second place while Frédéric Comte retains control of the event with more than a minute in advance. However, the leader should receive a penalty for having clocked in ten minutes early at the end of the service.
Gilles Nantet (Porsche 996 GT3) perd le contact avec le Bastiais puisqu?il accuse désormais 42 secondes de retard. Il n?est cependant pas menacé par Ludovic Gal (Peugeot 207 S2000), toujours quatrième devant Cédric Robert (Citroën DS3 R3).
