Filip Mares will leave for a new season in ERC taking advantage of the support of the Czech Motorsport Federation. With his co-driver Jan Hlousek, they will drive a Kresta Racing Skoda Fabia R5 in the European Rally Championship and the national championship.
“It was mainly about getting our bearings with the new car last year, comments Filip Mares. This season we would like to prove our worth and regularly finish in the first 5 places. I worked on my driving over the winter, a choice I was able to apply in the last two ERC gravel races last year. We obviously also work on physical preparation and grades, but we are entering the last phase of preparation in order to be best prepared for the first round of the national championship. »
