We had not seen him engaged at international level since his withdrawal from the World Rally Championship (WRC) in 2014. Mikko Hirvonen, four-time vice-world champion, will be at the start of the Rally from Cyprus (September 27-29) with a Ford Fiesta R5. At his side, his Finnish compatriot Jarno Ottman.
Three French people will take part in the penultimate round of the 2019 season of the European Rally Championship (ERC): Mathieu Baumel as co-driver of Nasser Al-Attiyah (Volkswagen) and Florian Bernardi-Victor Bellotto on Renault Clio RS R3T.
