Skoda wins its third Manufacturers' title in a row at the end of the Rally Sanremo while there is still the Cyprus Rally to go. Jan Kopecky achieved the Czech manufacturer's best performance this weekend by taking second place behind the Ford Fiesta RRC of winner Giandomenico Basso and the Peugeot 207 S2000 by Alessandro Perico. The fight for this Championship was not well contested since Skoda was the only one officially entered this season and is 165 points ahead of Peugeot with one event remaining.
