On home soil, Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia R5 Evo) was the fastest in the qualifying special for the Barum Rally in the Czech Republic, a round counting for the European Rally Championship.
The official driver of the Mlada Boleslav brand signed the scratch at the end of the 4,40 km program in 2'39"893, 75 thousandths ahead of Nikolay Gryazin (Skoda Fabia R5).
Alexey Lukyanuk (Citroën C3 R5) completes the top three of the special at 1″1. Kopecky, titled in ERC in 2013, will be able to choose their running order thanks to this best time.
