Alongside the IRC event, the second Volant 207 event at the Tour de Corse will take place. Leader Germain Bonnefis will try to maintain the lead in the Championship against Denis Millet, the IRC 2WD Champion in 2009.
Two new crews, local Fréderic Andreucci, winner of the Corsican Volant 207 event in 2009, and Cyril Audirac, winner of the Volant 207 the same year, will take the opportunity to join this promotion formula and try to undermine the leaders.
