Monzón remains in the lead in the Canaries, Bonato loses his 2nd place
Regularly in the Top 5 and with 2 scratches in 6 stages contested this Friday, Luis Monzón saw his efforts rewarded at the end of the day with the leader's place when returning to the service park. After the first 7 ES, the Spaniard is in the lead ahead of his new runner-up and compatriot Nil Solans, relegated to 8”4. One time 2e behind Monzón, Yoann Bonato finally lost his position during the last special stage covered.

Third on the line 5”4 behind Nil Solans, the Frenchman fell back to 3e rank in the general classification at 12 from Luis Monzón. Yoann Bonato now has 1 special stages this Saturday to try to get back into the leading group and fight for victory against the locals.
