Nikolay Gryazin remained in the lead after the first stage of Rally Liepaja. The Latvian leads with 19 seconds ahead of Chris Ingram while Fabian Kreim remains on the provisional podium. Fredrik Ahlin and Lukasz Habaj complete the top five monopolized by the Skoda Fabia R5s.
Laurent Pellier (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) occupies 8th position behind Eyvind Brynildsen (Ford) and Filipe Mares.
