Première victoire de spéciale pour une Toyota lors de cet Arctic Rally. Elfyn Evans s’est offert l’ES4 devant ses deux coéquipiers Kalle Rovanperä et Sébastien Ogier.
Cette quatrième spéciale était vraisemblablement favorable à la vitesse de pointe des Yaris puisque la première Hyundai, that of Thierry Neuville, is only in 4th place 4“5 from Elfyn Evans.

Only 8th in SS4 and not far from the disaster, Ott Tänak let a few seconds slip away from the general but nothing too serious. The Hyundai driver maintains the lead in the standings with a 21" lead over his new runner-up, Kalle Rovanperä.
Craig Breen (Hyundai) falls back to third place and is 22” behind Ott Tänak. Thierry Neuville and Elfyn Evans complete the Top 4. Sébastien Ogier is still behind. The Habs are 5” behind the leader.
