Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) lost around 25 seconds in the 6km Fernet Branca super special by being slowed down by the loss of its power steering which suffered on the previous route of the Rally d’Argentine. Kris Meeke (Toyota) a également perdu des secondes par poignées en souffrant d’une roue déjantée, sa roue de secours étant également endommagée.
Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) a signé le scratch avec 6 dixièmes d’avance sur son coéquipier Dani Sordo. Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) a suivi à une seconde devant Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) which was able to take a second back Ott Tänak (Toyota).
Thierry Neuville returns to service with a little more than 6 seconds ahead of Ott Tänak. Andreas Mikkelsen takes 3rd place against Kris Meeke. Dani Sordo climbs into the Top 5 while Sébastien Ogier falls to 6th position, more than 9 seconds behind the Spaniard. Jari-Matti Latvala remains 7th ahead of Teemu Suninen. Mads Ostberg (Citroën) still occupies 9th place, leading the WRC 2 Pro.
