Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) won the British Grand Prix ahead of Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) and the Ferrari of Kimi Räikkönen. The Scuderia Finn, however, encountered a problem with his left front tire in the final laps, forcing him to return to the pits.
Overtaken by his teammate Sebastian Vettel, Iceman took advantage of Vettel's puncture on the penultimate lap to get back on the podium ahead of the Red Bulls of Verstappen and Ricciardo. Nico Hülkenberg places his Renault R.S. 17 in sixth position ahead of Sebastian Vettel, ultimately seventh. The top 10 is completed by the Force India of Ocon and Pérez and the Williams of Massa.

T51 – Räikkönen returns to the podium behind the two Mercedes of Hamilton and Bottas.
Incredible scenario at Ferrari... Sebastian Vettel punctures at the front left after returning to third after Räikkönen's problems.
T50 – Verstappen also goes through the pits. The Dutchman had complained about his tires earlier in the race.
Tire problem at the front left for Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari), who leaves in tatters. The Finn lets Bottas pass and returns to the pits.
T49 – Problem reported on Hülkenberg’s Renault R.S.1 7. We ask the German to continue his effort.
Five laps to cover and Bottas is 5″5 behind Räikkönen for second place.

Romain Grosjean (Haas) and Marcus Ericsson (Sauber) seem to have made contact. The Frenchman goes off course and blurts into his radio: “Stupid, incredible! »
T44 – Vettel is in great difficulty with his tires and complains about it on his radio. The German is 9″ ahead of Verstappen, still 5th in his Red Bull.
T44 – Bottas is 7″7 behind Räikkönen. Can the Finn give Mercedes the double?
T43 – Valtteri Bottas passes Vettel before Stowe using his DRS. The Finn gets back on the provisional podium.
T42 – Bottas regained ground on Vettel. The German goes wide in Chapel and sees Bottas threaten him in Stowe. The Ferrari remained ahead of the Mercedes despite a heavy wheel lockup when braking on the penultimate corner.
Max Verstappen complains about his very worn front left tire.
T41 – Hamilton (Mercedes) is 12″8 ahead of Räikkönen (Ferrari) at the head of this Grand Prix. Vettel (Ferrari) remains third but remains threatened by Bottas (Mercedes) for the podium. Verstappen (Red Bull) is alone in fifth position ahead of Hülkenberg (Renault). Ricciardo (Red Bull) is 7th ahead of the Force India of Ocon and Pérez and the Williams of Massa.
T40 – 2″1 gap between Vettel and Bottas for the fight for the last step of the podium.
