In difficulty on the Sardinian side, Elfyn Evans (Toyota) scored his first scratch of the weekend. With a time of 8'43"2, the Welshman beat his teammate Sébastien Ogier and Ott Tänak (Hyundai) by only 2 and 3 tenths respectively.

Overall, Sébastien Ogier is giving himself some breathing room in the race for 2nd place against Dani Sordo (Hyundai). The Tricolore trails him by 6” before the last special of the first loop of the day. Ott Tänak is still leading with more than 4 seconds ahead.

Despite his victory in this SS11, Elfyn Evans remains away from the race for victory. The Welshman is 4th, more than a minute from the lead.
